In 2004, the award-winning logistics company CRT Group was sold and its founder, Colin Rees, retained the group’s half share in Mangalore airport. He subsequently bought the other share to bring the airport in to the Colin Rees Group in 2005. Colin decided to take on the challenge of turning a small regional airport in Australia into a multifaceted airfield, providing more than just simple air services.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the transport industry, Rees has brought his expertise, and that of his business partners and an expert Airport Advisory Group, to the comprehensive and innovative plan for future operations at MAA.
